I still love narrating #fiction, even though I switched to narrating a nonfiction #audiobook at the moment.
Tom Purdom's 1999 #sciencefiction novelette "Fossil Games" had a tremendous influence on me. I emailed him last year to see if I could adapt it into a free #podcast. But he's in his 90s and probably has other things to do besides check email and investigate contractual restrictions on his audio rights.

Of course I offered to pay him. I should hasten to add that, because it's sadly not obvious these days.
From my experience working for a fiction podcasting company, Escape Artists (Escape Pod / Pseudopod / Podcastle) I know how affordable these payments usually are. I could have paid for it out of Patreon donations.
